The Body Reinvented is an homage to the parlour game invented by the Surrealist in the 1930′s. Known as The Exquisite Corpse game, the name comes from the sentence that resulted when Surrealists first played the game ”Le cadavre exquis boira le vin nouveau.” (“The exquisite corpse will drink the new wine.”) . The book was a project I coordinated for an exhibit of artist books. Over 26 artist including myself contributed a page, making this book whimsical and unique. I designed and assembled the cover as well as assisted in the binding.
